True and Luca Erbeck have confirmed that they have signed on with Team Sky for the 2013/2014 season. The brothers stated they were excited to ride with their new team. The team claims that with the addition of these new riders, Sky will have a strong Northwest presence. The two riders are expected to make their debut in the Fall of 2013, likely at the Woodland Park GC. Please refer back to this blog for updated racing schedules and a full length interview with each rider.

big day at discovery park for the erbeck and rider boys! i took them all out for an afternoon hike/jog and the silliness ensued. the boys are such great friends, and so fun to have all together at the same time. one woman thought the boys were a set of quadruplets (oh lord no!) and then thought i was just crazy for having a set of twin boys, then going on to have more kids. sheesh. she really could not believe that they weren't all mine (they look so much alike she kept saying...).

seattle has some rockin' parks. i forget that sometimes. i mean, our city really is beautiful. i was glad that after a lovely dinner, aaron took us to enjoy a sunset at gasworks park. the kids took turns running up the hill as fast as they could- and we all just enjoyed the seattle skyline. i love the northwest in summer, you just can't beat it.

this skateboard thing is starting to get serious! the grandparents took the kids to a free skateboard lesson on sunday. it's amazing how far the boys came with one good lesson! true was reluctant, but is now obsessed with practicing. both kids are standing and pushing... and true wants a ramp at the house (sorry kid, that's not going to happen).

true was busy. aaron was busy. so luca and i had a date. we sat on the back porch of cornuto- a lovely little pizzeria in our hood. we chatted and we laughed and i felt like i was the luckiest girl in the place, hanging out with one of the cutest boys ever.
