Bluebird. they had to ride up a steep steet (yay true for stopping only once!), and then 7 blocks down greenwood (on the sidewalk of course). they each chose vegan coconut chocolate mint chip, and true's was gone in a nanosecond. he graciously offered to help luca finish his, but luca holds his own. i love that we ride bikes places, and that our stroller is collecting dust on the porch.

it's been a few years since we have had sun AND warmth on easter. i'm still ear to ear smiles after a gorgeous sunny day, and a great time at the bullbaugh annual brunch and egg hunt. so many kids, so many eggs!

it's still cold here, but passover and easter are around the corner, so we've put our heavy jackets away and we're shivering in our spring wear. luca, looking extra cute in his new orange shoes, displays his show and tell for the spring theme...hatched from an egg. the red bird was lovingly made by aunt nicola, as is the hat on his head!

i took a few days to hang out with friends in portland and take in a punk rock show (didn't know i could stay up past 10, but i made it). the keelings are such great hosts, but the kids just steal the show. maggie, emmett, and georgia really are awesome! they are fun, engaging, polite, and they look out for one another. it's cute to see how maggie and emmett really work to keep georgia safe and happy. thanks keelings!
