aaron had a week of riding bikes with rapha , and i took care of kids. my husband surprised me though...he flew me to oregon to join him and the team.
the story is amazing and involves private airplanes, rodeos, picking gravel out of my knee, bull riding, 7 pound corn dogs, and so many other things. i wouldn't know where to start or end. but here is some photo evidence of what was an amazing and crazy weekend.
(thanks to my mom for making the trip to seattle to take care of the wee erbecks. they loved hanging out with grammy!)

my boys (all three of them) love bikes. luca, in particular, was ever so fond of adeline's scoot. she graciously allowed him to have a turn on the bike, and luca did not so graciously return it. we spent the weekend trying to divert his attention so that adeline could ride her own bike (this was met with much protest!).

i remember the exact outfit that i wore to my first day of junior high school....and i knew it was pretty important to skylar too. i begged nicola to send me a quick photo of sky in her first day outfit. i think she's got mad style! love the skirt/converse combo!
(in case you're wondering, i wore blue cotton overalls, a yellow hawaiian print shirt and some bad brown suede shoes. not exactly the style maven known as skylar)

that's what luca said to me yesterday. full sentences are a new thing, and take some baby interpretation...but it's exciting none-the-less. luca is motivated and determined to learn new words all the time- he's always pointing at something and saying (again, baby garble), "what called?"
thank you heather for the great portrait!
